RollerBall – a pinball game for tonight’s X1 game spotlight. It’s fun in the way Atari 2600’s Video Pinball game is fun, but with a lot of additional complexity. Gameplay is divided into four screens with flippers on each one, with things like a “slot machine” and roll-over mechanisms to increase your bonus score.

  1. hi there, could you please tell me the controls for this game? i think SPACE starts the game and 1 is for the left flipper, but how do you control the right flipper? thanks!

    1. nevermind, i figured it out after trying more keys – looks like Return both launches the ball and controls the right flipper. thanks anyway – i like this blog/site.

      1. Hi, thanks for the comments! It’s a neat game, huh? Are you also playing it on the X1 or are you using a different system? I recently got it for the MSX, also, but there isn’t much need to have it for both systems, it’s basically identical with the Sharp being a little more graphically refined. Glad you like the blog!
